Marula Mining PLC (AQSE: MARU A2X: MAR) an African focused mining and development company, is pleased to announce the establishment of an Advisory Board ("Advisory Board') to provide strategic guidance and expertise to the Company's Chief Executive Officer and executive management team as the Company continues its critical and battery metals mine producer growth strategy in East and Southern Africa.

The Advisory Board has been established to offer independent insights, business development support and to strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and commercial partners within the various countries that the Company is looking to expand its operating activities.

The Company is pleased to announce the appointment of the Advisory Board's inaugural members which include highly experienced and respected professionals and leaders from the mining, financial, legal and environmental and green economy sectors.

The inaugural members of the Advisory Board include:

Mr Hubert Ruzibiza, a development and climate finance professional based in Rwanda and with over 15 years governmental and private sector finance experience in Africa's green economy.

Mr Ruzibiza is currently the Chief Executive Officer of the Climate Prosperity Center-Africa, Senior Climate Finance and Technical Advisor to the Africa Infrastructure Investment Bank and also sits on the Advisory Board of Africa Green's Economy Summit. Mr Ruzibiza is the former Chief Executive Officer of the  Government of Rwanda's Green Fund and Head of Division Financial Services Development of the Rwanda Development Board.

Mr Lemogang Pitsoe, a mining engineering professional based in South Africa with over 25 years' experience in mine operations and exploration activities across both Private and Public Sectors.

Mr Pitsoe is currently the Chief Executive Officer for South African state-owned mining company, African Exploration Mining and Finance Corporation SOC (Pty) ('AEMFC'), which was established to secure South Africa's energy supply primarily through the mining and supply of coal and securing other resources that will provide energy for the future.  Mr Pitsoe is a member of South Africa Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (SAIMM), registered Engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA), and Association Mine Managers' of South Africa ('AMMSA').

Mr Jacques Breytenbach, an experienced and accomplished financial professional, specialising in the mining industry, and based in South Africa. He has over 25 years' experience in the South African mining industry, alongside 15 years' experience in Tanzania.

Mr Breytenbach is a former Finance Director and Chief Financial Officer of a London-listed mining company and has over 18 years' experience in executive and senior financial management roles. During his most recent position as Finance Director, he successful led several corporate finance transactions, including debt raisings, rights issues, refinancing and an approx. US$800 million capital and debt restructure.

Mr Jared Aimba, is a highly experienced finance executive based in Kenya, with over 30 years financial services experience in East Africa's regional financial services sector spanning banking, insurance and risk management.

Mr Aimba is the former Director and Acting Chairman of the Kenyan Governments Agricultural Finance Corporation, and former ??Managing Director of Fina Bank Uganda Limited and ??Executive Director and Head of Business?Banking - Fina Bank Kenya Limited. In his current role, he has grown one of Kenya's independent financial services company to be one of the most recognisable private SME Trade Finance solutions provider in Kenya. Mr Aimba is a member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and a Fellow of the Kenya Institute of Bankers.

Dr Caroline Saroni is a leading corporate lawyer and senior investment advisor based in Kenya with over 18 years in law, policy, international trade and investment advisory, mining advisory, and organizational leadership.

Dr Saroni is an executive director of AfriTrade Consulting Group with expertise in international trade and investment, mining, legal advisory, policy analysis and development, governance frameworks, research, training, arbitration and mediation. Dr Saroni has been instrumental in drafting and implementing key legislative reforms in Kenya and has published multiple research papers on international trade and investment, regional integration, mining, governance and policy development.

Dr Saroni is a member of the Law Society of Kenya and Nelson Mandela School of Public Governance (Women Influence Power Programme).

The Advisory Board will be chaired by the Company's current non-executive director, Ms Hannah Wang'Ombe, and is scheduled to meet on a quarterly basis and has full access to the Company's Chief Executive Officer, Board of Directors, corporate executives and employees, as deemed necessary to carry out their responsibilities.
